About Me
My name is Sarah Smith, and As the mom of two kids. I’ve always loved the opportunity to watch a new person taking his or her first steps into this world and discovering the joys of life.
This is also why I decided to write these baby stroller reviews, in order to help other parents take care of their children as best as possible, while also avoiding some of the mistakes I’ve made, and situations I’ve faced, over the years.
Needless to say, over the many years I’ve spent on the job, I’ve had the chance or misfortune to try out many types of strollers, ranging from the bulky, old ones to the shiny and colorful, newer models.
Willing or not, I’ve come to appreciate safety, comfort and easy maneuverability, but also folding options, durability and price. Strollers are a choice that influences the well being and proper development of the children, so considering all aspects is vital.
My reviews are honest and with no other purpose than making this choice easier for the parents and beneficial for the little ones. There is nothing for me to gain by promoting one brand over another, save for the satisfaction of knowing that some children out there will be safer and more comfortable after their parents read these pages.
These being said, the most important aspect of any stroller is its safety features, followed by how comfortable it is, for both parents and children. I’ve had some pretty bad experiences with poorly-built, low-quality strollers, one of which fell apart in the middle of the street.
The damage was severe, and it was with great effort and luck that I managed to protect the baby from falling and getting severely injured. That very moment, in that very place, I decided I would no longer take beating around the bushes and hunting for bargains when it comes to these pieces of equipment.
I understand that there is always a risk for something to go wrong, but I strongly believe that risks can be minimized by making well informed decisions. While it is generally true that a good stroller costs a lot of money, especially for young couples, there is no substitute for the peace of mind you get when you know your child is safe.
In addition to providing increased security, a good stroller can be easily folded when not in use, even with just one hand. If you walk your baby all by yourself, packing the stroller can be really complex.
When working with small children, I’ve often had to ask passers-by for a hand, since I had no way of holding the baby and folding up the stroller at the same time. Ease-of-use is something that should be carefully considered when deciding on a stroller.
Furthermore, keep in mind that a good stroller will always endure for 2 or 3 years at least, which is excellent if you plan on having more than one child. A durable stroller can be passed on from generation to generation or among friends and it can save you a lot of money.
Maintenance costs are also lower, allowing you to save up some money for a nice present. The benefits a wise choice of the stroller can bring go even further, but I am sure you got the basics, and my reviews should take care of the rest, so all I have left to do is to wish you and your precious baby.
